My Johannian and St Marian friends whom have been friends with me since Form 1 through Form Six is one bunch that are very dear to my heart. We grew up, argued, laughed together, then one by one got married and now have our own family. I'm very grateful to them. Now we still take time to meet up for "makan" most of the time at Kin's house...
The second dinner happened to be with Pastor Yee Tham Wan and families and 3 Myanmar friends. YTW has been very kind to us. When we first started dating, Sasha came to KL to visit me and he stayed at YTW house. He helped Sasha with his field education and then when we got married, he was our witness and spoke for Sasha at our wedding. He and his wife supported and prayed for us while we were in Russia. They are one of our "family in Christ" that we are so grateful to God.
Yesterday we had our own family reunion. My brother and his family came from UK. I haven't seen their kids and "Yee Soh" for 2 years and wow their kids especially daughter really grew. Everyone especially my mom are so happy to see them. Wish they would move back to Malaysia closer to the family and mom...We are meeting again next week for BBQ.
So was a good times meeting, eating and catching up with people...refreshing but I'm glad we have some time for each other this weekend....
